This is an EVERYBODY WINS contest with added prizes for category winners (see below). Judging by a panel of local, professional artists and photographers: Linda Werthwein, Susan Mason, Peter Keough, and Kathie Greene.


Guidelines:

• Two dimensional art or photography only
• 18" x 24" inches maximum size, NOT including matte.
• Art works must be affixed to a hard backing whether matted or not.
• Framed works not accepted
• Entry blank (provided below) must be affixed to back of entry
• No specific theme of show. Open creativity encouraged. Please no "untoward" images -- this is a public display for all ages and attitudes
• Judging categories = K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 for each format: art and photography
• Prizes in each category for 1st, 2nd, 3rd plus Best In Show Art, and Best In Show Photography.

• Prizes will range from $100 to $25 in cash value gift certificates for art/photo supplies plus EVERYBODY will receive a certificate of appreciation (suitable for framing) and a small gift of appreciation.
• Students maintain ownership and rights to all works.
• No sales of works allowed except as specifically authorized and conducted by the students or her/his parent/guardian. Unity will not support or participate in any sales activities, yet will not block interested parties.

Unity will send out information and rules to all teachers.

February
Teachers remind/assist students with projects and deadline.

The History Place is located on Arendell St between 10th and 11th Streets.
