Herb Pierson, Minister at Crystal Coast Unity in Morehead City, NC, saw a need for creating more peace and harmony in Carteret County.

He became aware of a program started by Will Bowen that uses purple bracelets to inspire people to stop complaining, thus creating more peace and love around them.

This campaign has taken off tremendously in Carteret County and the hope is that it will be adopted by everyone world wide.

 

 
  The origins of A Complaint Free World
Will Bowen is the Lead Minister at Christ Church Unity in Kansas City, MO. In July 2006 he suggested his congregation use purple bracelets to monitor their success at eradicating complaining from their lives. His idea exploded around the world and over 6 million purple Complaint Free bracelets have been requested in more than 80 countries.
Bowen has been featured on Oprah, The Today Show, Fox News Channel and in dozens of TV and radio interviews. Stories about him and the movement he created have been written about in over 100 newspapers, People Magazine and Chicken Soup for the Soul. He was dubbed one of the most innovative Christian leaders in the U.S. by Church Solutions magazine. His first book, "A Complaint Free World," is being published by Doubleday, the audio book by Random House Audio and is also being published in more than a dozen foreign countries.
